Important: All your data in Faith in Action is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal data on our servers. This means you have complete control over your data directly from the app.
Understanding Your Data
Faith in Action stores the following data locally on your device:
- Username: Optional name you chose during onboarding
- Bible translation preferences: Your preferred translation (World English Bible, Louis Segond 1910, or Reina-Valera 1909)
- Favorite verses: Verses you have saved as favorites
- Personal verses: Verses you have created with personal actions
- Reading plan progress: Completed days, accomplished actions, progression statistics
- Notification settings: Reminder times you configured
- Appearance preferences: Dark/light mode settings
- Onboarding data: Religious tradition, selected spiritual needs, preferred time
How to View Your Data
π Access Your Data
All your data is visible directly within the Faith in Action app:
- Open the Faith in Action app on your device
- Navigate to Settings (usually accessible from the main menu or profile section)
- View your username, preferences, and saved content
- Check your reading progress and statistics
Note: Since all data is stored locally, you can only view it from the device where the app is installed.
How to Modify Your Data
βοΈ Update Your Information
You can modify your data at any time directly in the app:
- Open the app and go to Settings
- Change your Bible translation preference
- Modify notification times and preferences
- Toggle between dark and light mode
- Edit or delete favorite verses
- Modify or delete personal verses you created
Note: Your username cannot be changed after initial setup.
Changes are saved automatically and only stored on your device.
How to Delete Your Data
ποΈ Remove All Your Data
To completely delete all your data from Faith in Action:
- Option 1 - Uninstall the app: Uninstall Faith in Action from your device. All local data will be automatically deleted by your operating system.
- Option 2 - Clear app data (iOS): Go to Settings β General β iPhone Storage β Faith in Action β Offload App or Delete App
Warning: Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. This includes all your favorites, personal verses, progress, and preferences.
Data Sharing and Usage
We do not share your data: Faith in Action does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data with third parties. All your data remains on your device and is never sent to our servers or shared with anyone.
The only exception is subscription management through RevenueCat and Apple App Store, which handle payment processing. These services only receive subscription identifiers and status, not your personal app data (favorites, verses, progress, etc.).
Your Privacy Rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and LGPD, you have the following rights:
